Add and Sell an Item
The majority of people that use Utopic studios are artists and merchants looking to add their work as items.
Some people like to add 1 picture of each item to a single tab or multiple pictures of 1 subject to a tab.
If you are an art dealer selling someone elses work you can change the Artist field accordingly.
You can add a price by selecting: For Sale [Y/N]
To accept payments from people add your Paypal email in "Account information" when logged in. Your email will never be disclosed.
The picture description is important; because it will be indexed by google.
Change the colors of your website profile. [Design]
Banner Font Color = Is the color of your name or your Store name going across the top.
Banner Background Color = Color behind your name, going across the top.
Main Font Color = Will decide your Tab font and your description font color.
Main Background Color = Is behind everything else.
Tab Highlight Color = Color around your tab when it is selected.
Tab Background Color = Color behind the thumbnails, as well as the description below.
Get exposure Create a contact page.
You can add 3 pictures of yourself, some Bio informaiton.
Add your contact information so people may contact you about your items or services you have for sale.
Than we help you get found.
Check out your rating.
People searching can find you by location, category type, top rated, alphabetical, most votes, and oldest.
Vote on other artists or check out what other people have felt about your work.
Find your own ranking by selecting one of the category's you assigned to your tab. Than press "Go". If you do not see your listing on the first page try the second page, by clicking 1 [2] at the top.
Any listing that has not received a vote, can be found as the last listing in a category.

Every picture you add will get its time in the sun.
When you add a picture to a tab, it will show up in position 1 in Browse.
This section essentially displays the newest pictures and items added and than links directly to that persons profile.

- Utopic studios is a great platform for you to display and sell your art work. Normally renting a server is $50 a year minimum, at Utopicstudios server space is free. Start getting your portfolio together, buy adding photos of your work into a miniature customizable website. You can Add tabs such as picture contact and links tabs. This will allow for people to email or call you about your work. If you would like to sell your work it is encouraged for you to get a paypal account. Since all of the changes to your website, are made within the utopicstudios control panel, there is no web knowledge necessary. Your website profile will automatically be added into our Search, browse and communities section, allowing for people to automatically find you.

- Many artists already have beautiful websites to display their artwork. We want to help everyone. To accommodate for the more established artist, we have setup an art directory system for people to find your website. To add your link to our directory, create an account, than click on add links. You can add a picture with you link. Your link will never expire, and it is free.
- How do I create this free utopic profile?

- Create an account from the home page, login. Click on control panel. You will see "New Tab+" and "Contact." Click on New tab +, This is how you create the first tab in your new website. It is going to ask you for the tab information as well as information for your first picture in the tab. After you have submitted your first picture, you will see a thumbnail of the picture in the bottom section of the control panel. The picture you just added will represent your tab in our directory. This is where you can change the tab name, tab category, or tab thumbnail to something different. In the top portion of the control panel you can add additional pictures to the tab you just created. You can change the colors and layout of your website by clicking on "Settings." Additional information on these sections are available in the section break down below.
- How do I add a link to utopicstudios.com?

- First you need to create an account, login, click "Add links." Click on the big green box "Add +." Select the category, add a picture that best describes your link. You may add multiple links that you do not own, however you must have rights or written consent if you are going to add a picture. Now, when you click on the Add links tab, you can view and edit all of the links that you have added. To find your link in our directory go into search, and in put criteria such as "graphic designers" and hit GO, all of the graphic designers will come up. Once you have found your link, click on the drop down box to the right and give yourself a 10, click on rate and the information will be submitted to our databases. Now when you search for "graphic designers" again, you will notice your listing will have increased in ranking based on your average score.
- How do I find my link in search?

- Find your listing in search by restricting the criteria to something specific about your link such as a category or state, than press GO. Example: select All artists- scroll down and select "illustrator", than press [GO]. The search will now display Illustrators for all locations, rated by highest ranking. Listings that have not yet been voted on will show up last for that category, so if you just added your link it will be in last position. Find your link by going to the last page, click on the [1][2][3] numbers that are at the top and bottom of the search page. If there is only one page for this particular category you will only see [1].
- How do I get my picture/link on the homepage?

- Our home page will display the top ranked artists. The rankings are submitted in our Search section. Once you’ve found your listing you can increase its ranking by giving it a score. To the right of the listing you would like to vote on, click the drop down box, select a number than press "rate." The rating is now submitted to our databases. To see the change in rating press [GO] at the top of the screen and the list will repopulate with the changes, you may vote on yourself and other artists multiple times, fluctuating the rankings of artists.
- How do I get my link permanently on the home page?

- Scroll to the bottom of the home page and click on Link exchange. Add the UtopicStudios.com URL somewhere on your website, and submit a request to become an official partner. When we read your email we will look for the utopicstudios.com link on your website, than we will add your link to our Official partners section. If you would like to add our link in another section other than your homepage, make us aware of where you are placing the link so we can find it easily.
