Only one beginning

I believe in infinite possibilities and paint with a hope for the world to be filled with "luminous happiness". Glad to have been born on the miracle plannet Earth.

There's only one beginning , and it is connected with everything. The energy in the cosmos is connected with us. All of us become aware of the beauty and value of our own spirits. I am a self-taught artist who has been painting straight from my spirit.

Those who experience my art, tell me they receive happy, positive, calm, and peace. Years ago I went to Italy to find art within myself. Since than Gods have given me the ability to express that power and talent. My work has been on exhibit at museum's and galleries in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe and London.

William Howley: Initially you are calmed by the 4 main steams of light. You believe it is simple in nature and are drawn to see if there is more complexity to the painting. On second glance, you realize that the horizontal lights streams create multiple planes intensifying the intricacy of the painting. The interjecting lines and bright orange sub spaces must have been difficult to paint. This painting could only have been acheived by adding multifaceted layers.

Organic flowing themes

I was raised in a home where art was always present. Having a mother who was an artist inspired me to create. She taught me how to "see". In college I studied Graphic Design, which gave me a way to incorporate my love of fine art into a more marketable skill. Not only was I able to make a good living, I also had a new direction for my art. I instinctively use everything I have learned from the different parts of my life in the art I create today in whichever medium I am working. My hope is that people viewing my work will gain insight into my vision of the world as well as their own.

Painting is a comfortable medium for me. It comes naturally and I paint what I feel. I like to get something onto the canvas quickly so as not to lose the feeling I have at that particular moment. I either do quick sketches and then move right to the canvas or go right to the painting. Photography is another one of my passions. I love to see beauty in everyday things that most people don't give another glance. Best subjects are things I find on the ground. Jewelry is a new interest. I love the feel and look of copper in particular. Creating sculptural pieces gives me great satisfaction. Art does not need to be stationary, but can be worn and the experience of the art can be shared.

William Howley: I agree, art is finding things in natural settings that others see as normal. With out this ability wouldnt we all go insane? Some people live to find themselves with art, some people like others to feel that joy as well. How many types of artists are there?

My artwork is based on instinct. I let it happen and then try to take control of it. Organic flowing themes run through my paintings, photographs and jewelry. Being an artist is not all about beautiful artwork, but about what the artists sees and then what he/she can convey to the audience. To me it is all about the emotions I can provoke.

Beauty of the Sea

In creating my paintings, I try to create images that tell a story, or invoke a feeling for the subject matter. Most of my seascapes are about the might and beauty of the sea and its relationship to the sky, moon or sun. My aim is to portray this story in beautiful colors and tones that match the subject matter’s mood.

William Howley: This painting must have taken a long time to complete. The accuracy and detail in the waves is astonishing. My eye is drawn to the thin wave curling over. The light works perfectly. I want to grab it and rip it out of the sea.

Abstracts for me have to be more than well placed colors on a canvas, arranged in a pleasing pattern. Again, there must be some element that stirs the imagination and causes the observer to pause and contemplate what it says to them personally. Painting is such a pleasure for me, that I can only hope that when I have signed my name to a finished work, that it will bring pleasure for a viewer somewhere, sometime, someplace.
